The VanKirk Academy Summer Internship Program offers an opportunity for students to gain work-readiness training in an eight-week partnership with a local business or organization.
Interns will be paid through a stipend for their time spent completing projects and taking training. They will work a flexible 15-to-20-hour week from June 22 to Aug. 13.
Twenty internship spots are available for this summer. Preference will be given to members of DMACC’s 2020 SQUAD, and remaining slots will be open to the general public.
Most of the internships will be completed virtually. Students will be able to check out technology if needed.
