Iowa COVID-19 deaths rise to 1,601; positive cases at 111,845

DES MOINES, Iowa — Data from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) indicate total COVID-19 deaths statewide in Iowa stood at 1,601 at about 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22. In Dallas County, 44 deaths have been reported.

The total for positive cases statewide stands at 111,845, including 3,372 in Dallas County.
