Jane Ridihalgh, 80, of Perry passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at the Perry Lutheran Homes Eden Acres Campus in Perry, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Perry, with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.
Jane Lee Ridihalgh was born Dec. 4, 1941, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Lawrence Leslie and Betty Jo (Sumner) Tarver.
She graduated from high school at Ardmore and then attended college at Texas A&M.
Jane was united in marriage to William Blain Ridihalgh at the First Christian Church in Perry on Dec. 30, 1989.
She was a teacher’s aid at Catell and Moore Elementary Schools in Des Moines and then was a daycare worker in Perry.
Jane was a member of the First Christian Church in Perry.
In death she rejoins her parents, Lawrence and Betty Tarver.
Left to cherish Jane’s memory are her husband, William Ridihalgh; children, Randy Gates, Cheryl Fish, William Ridihalgh Jr., Mark Anthony Ridihalgh and Nathan Ridihalgh; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
