Graveside services are pending for Janet Marie Gliem, 78, of Perry will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 17 at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.
Janet died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Churdan, Iowa.
Janet is survived by her son, Richard (Vicky) Gliem of Jefferson; daughter, Debra (Alan) Betz of Churdan; sister, Judy Stiles of Madrid; sister-in-law, Susan (Tom) Stone of Perry; brother-in-law, Joe (Nancy) Gliem of Jefferson; five grandchildren, Bradley, Erica, David, Samantha and Hannah; seven great-grandchildren, Brianna, Joseph, Jenna, Alyce, Greyson, Lily and Liam; and one great-great-grandson, Elias.
Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements.
Janet was the best sister-in-law a person could have. I will remember all the good times we had. Janet could make the best old fashioned fudge and was a very good cook. Janet was a giving person. We will miss you so much. Keep everyone in heaven in order for us. Will see you again someday.
