The Iowa Girls Coaches Association recently announced that Perry forward Taylor Lathrum has been selected to play in the 2016 Larry Niemeyer Senior All-Star Game. Lathrum will compete in the Class 4A/5A game.
Lathrum was averaging 11.8 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per contest through games played Jan. 15, the latest date available for Perry statistical information. She is fourth in the Raccoon River Conference in rebounding and has tallied 15 steals while making 11 assists.
The All-Star games will be played April 2-3 at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.
