PLEASANTVILLE — For the first time this season the Perry girls golf team had the minimum of four golfers playing needed to generate a team score when they participated in a four-team meet hosted by Carlisle.

The hosts won with a 204, four strokes better than Des Moines Roosevelt (208). Bondurant-Farrar had a 218, with Perry shooting 258.

Delaney Eiteman led Perry with a 55, with MaryLou Ledesma adding a 64. Bryce Eastman had a 69 in her first-ever competitive match, with Ainsley Marburger — playing in just her second — recorded a 70.

Kennedy Sorenson’s 44 paced Carlisle, with Sarah Mumm carding a 52 while Lillie Peterson and Emma Parson both had rounds of 54. McKenna Clark and Ann Lent had rounds of 57 and 59, respectively, that were not used for the Wildcat team total.

Sara Koenig (45) and Olivia Koenig (46) led Roosevelt. The Roughriders also scored totals of 50 from Amy Huang and of 67 from Hannah Harvey, while Ellie Mingle’s 69 was not tabulated.

B-F used scores from Brenna Hamborg (46), Madison Dicks (53), Olivia Wendt (59) and Elise Thrap (60). Also on the course for the Lady Jays were Jenna Fuchs (71) and Megan Boyd (78).

Perry will return to action Thursday at North Polk, the meet held on the difficult Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City.
