Numerous members of the Perry Jayette track team were recently honored for their academic success.
The Jayettes received the IGHSAU Distinguished Academic Achievement Award for a combined grade point average of 3.25-4.0.
In addition, 15 Jayettes earned Raccoon River Conference All-Academic recognition, awarded to athletes in grades 10-12 who both earn a letter and post a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
Honored were: Joselyn Carrillo, Gaby Chavez, Mariah Duffy, Haileigh Kenyon, Chelsea Krueger, Taylor Lathrum, Star Love, Mariah McNamara, Emma Olejniczak, Breanna Penenger, Isabel Saemisch, Grace Stewart, McKinley Thompson, Sid Vancil and Maddie West.
