The Jefferson Police Department recently received updated entry vests for patrol vehicles courtesy of Prestige Automotive of Scranton.
The vests are used when officers respond to dangerous situations involving firearms, such as the forcible entry of residences.
“This was a very generous donation,” said Jefferson Police Department Chief Mark Clouse, “and we all greatly appreciate the support. Thank you Prestige Automotive!”
