- A traffic stop in the 1200 block of N. Elm Street resulted in Robert Kovar of Jefferson being issued a citation for violation of condition of restricted license.
- An officer conducted a funeral escort.
- An officer issued a parking violation notice in the 900 block of W. State Street for truck/RV/trailer parking violation.
- An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 500 block of E. Clark Street.
- Chad Sloan reported he located three juvenile males sitting in his vehicle at 307 E. Madison Street. Sloan chased the boys off before an officer arrived. The officer is investigating the event.
- An officer investigated a backing accident in the parking lot at 507 N. Elm St. A 2004 Chevrolet 2500, owned by Robert Irlbeck of Templeton, was parked on the west side of the lot when another patron witnessed a vehicle back into Irlbeck’s vehicle and drive away. The patron gave the officer a vehicle description and plate number for the vehicle. The officer located the 2002 Ford Taurus at the owner’s residence. Kyle Otto said he was unaware he struck a vehicle before leaving the Dairy Queen. The Irlbeck vehicle had an estimated $1,500 in damages, and the Otto vehicle had an estimated $500 in damages. No citations were issued as the accident occurred on private property.
- An officer was advised of an alarm activation at 300 American Drive. A key holder arrived and informed dispatch it was a false alarm.
- Susan Smith reported a stray dog running in the 700 block of S. Chestnut Street. An officer did not locate the reported animal.
- An officer checked on a motorist stopped on the shoulder of Iowa Highway 4 south of 250th Street. He learned the driver had struck a raccoon, causing damage to the vehicle. The officer summoned a Greene County Deputy Sheriff to file an accident report because the incident occurred out of the city limits.
