  • An officer assisted the resident at 302 S. Pinet St. with an alarm sounding in the residence.
  • Officers assisted the Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 100 block of N. Olive Street.
  • Nellie Petterson requested a welfare check at 107 N. Olive St. All was fine at the residence.
  • An officer conducted a consent search of a juvenile male’s room at 806 W. Washington St. Suspected narcotic related items were seized for testing. Juvenile charges are pending the test results.
  • Amanda Rumley spoke with an officer concerning a device used by a neighbor to scare away stray animals. The device emits a loud whistling noise when activated. The officer spoke to the neighbor, and the neighbor removed the device.
  • Officers assisted the Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 200 block of N. Grimmell Road.
  • A traffic stop was performed in the 800 block of N. Chestnut Street, resulting in Garret Tasler of Jefferson being issued a citation for excessive speed.
  • An officer assisted an Iowa State Patrol trooper with a traffic stop at Cedar and Clark streets.
  • Susan Herrick requested an officer at 407 S. Olive St. for issues occurring with her phone.
