  • An officer located an open business door at 610 N. Elm St.
  • An officer located an open business door at 412 W. McKinley St.
  • An officer located an open business door at 407 E. Central Ave.
  • A traffic stop was performed in the 800 block of E. Lincoln Way, resulting in Michelle Higgins being issued a citation for failure to wear safety belt.
  • June Bowers requested a welfare check on a male at 621 S. Cedar St. The officer made contact with the male and advised June he was fine.
  • An officer checked on an abandoned 911 call at 702 N. Cedar St. The officer made contact with a couple at the residence who said that they were involved in a verbal argument and did not need assistance.
  • An officer issued a parking violation notice in the 200 block of N. Pinet Street for parking across the sidewalk.
  • An officer met with a female at the Law Enforcement Center who said she was being harassed by a male from Grand Junction as she worked at Hy-Vee. The officer contacted the male and advised him to end contact with the female at the business. The male said he understood.
  • The male occupant at 508 N. Locust St. was aware that his city water service was scheduled to be shut off, and he parked his vehicle over the curb shut-off valve, preventing crews from shutting off the service. An officer attempted to make contact with the male occupant at the residence, but no one answered the door, so the officer called a tow company to remove the vehicle. The male occupant came out and moved the vehicle once the tow truck arrived.
  • Officers assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of E. Russell Street.
  • A traffic stop was performed in the 400 block of S. Chestnut Street, resulting in Grason Lansman from Churdan being issued a citation for failure to wear safety belt.
  • Officers assisted the Greene County EMS with a medical call in the 100 block of Lincoln Place.
  • Natalie Payan came to the Law Enforcement Center to report her 1999 Chevy Prism was struck while parked at 101 Ram Drive. The vehicle sustained a reported $200 in damage to a tail light. The other vehicle involved left before Payan noticed the damage. An officer is investigating.
  • An officer located ans secured an open business door at 602 N. Elm St.
