  • Kristy Burley requested a welfare check on a female at 1206 Rushridge Road. The officer made contact with the subject, who was fine.
  • An officer assisted the Greene County Ambulance with a medical call in the 100 block of W. Adams Street.
  • George Glasgow reported lost or stolen items from two Jefferson residences. An officer is investigating.
  • Mary Monthei spoke with an officer concerning a civil issue involving the gift of money.
  • Officers were requested at 119 N. Chestnut St. for an unruly subject in the business.
  • Shirly Curtiss reported an abandoned bicycle at 1301 N. Elm St. An officer placed the bike in impound.
  • Officers worked to locate a female subject who was possibly having mental issues. The person was located in the 100 block of N. Wilson Avenue. Officers coaxed the female to the emergency room to be evaluated by a medical doctor.
  • An officer towed a vehicle from the 400 block of Georgia Street that was in violation of parking ordinances.
  • The Greene County Elementary School requested an officer to assist in the removal of a disruptive student at 401 E. Russell St. The juvenile was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and later picked up by a parent.
  • A caller requested officers at 701 N. Cedar St., #28, and hung up the phone. Officers arrived and made contact with a couple who had been involved in a verbal argument.
  • The Home State Bank provided an officer a counterfeit $10 bill. A customer brought it to the bank. An officer is investigating the event.
  • A Child Protective Services worker spoke with an officer about a report of marijuana being present in a Jefferson residence.
  • Nicole Johnson spoke with an officer concerning a civil property issue occurring at 500 E. Clark Street.
  • Scott Tanner reported a house with the front door standing open in the 300 block of E. Lincoln Way. The residence is vacant and for sale. An officer found the residence to be secure.
  • Amber Spaulding spoke with an officer about a civil property issue occurring at 206 N. Oak St.
  • Vickie Williams reported being assaulted by a known male at 905 W. Lincoln Way. An officer is investigating.
  • Jessica Chrystal spoke to an officer about drug usage at a Jefferson residence. She wanted to provide the officer with photographs to support her claims.
  • The Wild Rose Casino reported an intoxicated male was asked to leave the casino and was possibly going to drive away from the parking lot. An officer arrived and made contact with the person, who said he was retrieving a cell phone charger and spending the night in the Cobblestone Hotel. The officer verified he had a room and let the male go on his way to his room.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
