  • A caller reported a male driving near Lincoln Way and Elm Street with a suspended driver’s license. An officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
  • An officer checked on a semi with mechanical issues in the 300 block of S. Elm Street.
  • An officer was requested to speak to people in the 200 block of N. Elm Street about parking in the private parking lot for the Central Christian Church. The vehicles will be removed from the private property.
  • Julie Mulder spoke with an officer concerning heavy foot traffic through her yard at 1301 N. Elm St. An officer suggested placing No Trespassing signs in the yard as a good place to start with the issue.
  • Charlie Paniagua reported someone stole her Social Security number and mail from 406 W. Head St. An officer is investigating.
  • Richie Burkhardt spoke with an officer concerning a civil issue with vehicle parts at 401 E. McKinley St.
  • A traffic stop was performed with a vehicle on 230th Street near S Avenue that resulted in the arrest of Joseph Xavier Lay, 45, of Boone for driving while revoked, operation without registration and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
  • The dispatcher received a 911 call from a lost male who did not know his location on 220th Street but advised he was near cows. Officers checked and did not locate the male within the city limits.
  • A caller reported a female walking on 220th Street near N. Mulberry Street. Officers made contact with the walking female, who said she left her boyfriend’s residence, where she had been staying. She advised of an order of protection between the two and admitted they had been violating the order at 206 E. Washington St. Officers spoke to the male, who confirmed the same information. Officers arrested Jeremy Dale Eberle, 30, of Jefferson and Elizabeth Celine Fischels, 31, of Webster City for violation of a protective order.
  • Stacy Jones reported a neighbor’s dog in her yard at 506 N. Oak St. Officers were unable to respond but will follow up with Jones at a later time.
