  • Bill Schaal reported receiving a scam letter advising him he won $4 million. The letter will be sent to the U.S. Postal Service inspectors.
  • Sandy Day reported juveniles getting in the trunk of a vehicle and driving away from Russell Park. The officer located the described vehicle and spoke to the juveniles about the safety issues associated with this behavior.
  • The parents of two male juveniles reported to an officer that another male juvenile threatened them with a pocketknife at the Skateboard Park in the 600 block of E. Lincoln Way. The officer spoke to the parents and all children involved in the matter. It was decided to allow parents to take care of the knife issue instead of pursuing a criminal charge. The knife was not brandished in a threatening matter.
  • An officer issued Kay Skalla a citation for animal at large prohibited after recent reports of her dog leaving her property at 500 S. Maple St.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
