John Beals Sr., 74, of Bouton passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at his son’s home in Johnston, Iowa.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
John Archer Beals Sr. was born May 19, 1948, in Perry, Iowa, to Albert Kelsey and Bonna Luella (Moore) Beals.
He attended Perry High School.
John served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was united in marriage to Peggy Ann Moorhead on May 26, 1971.
John worked at Oscar Mayer and IBP.
He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and watching wrestling.
In death he rejoins his wife, Peggy; parents, Albert and Bonna Beals; and a son, James Beals.
Left to cherish John’s memory are his sons, John (Gina) Beals of Johnston, Christopher Beals of Bouton and Jason (Pamela) Beals of New London, Wisconsin; and grandchildren, Andrew Beals, Rylee Beals and Jordyn Beals.
