Perry High School sophomore Juan Viveros was named this week the Perry Kiwanis Club Student of the Month for November.
Juan is well known for being always polite and willing to stop and ask how your day is going. He strives to do his very best in school and prides himself on having a perfect attendance during his freshman year.
“Juan is an excellent example of the ‘Bluejay Way,’ we look for in students,” said Kiwanis Club President Katelyn Brelsford.
Juan earned the Student of the Month honor through his undeniably positive attitude and ability to bring a smile to others. He consistently asks those around him how they are doing and what fun plans they have, and he makes sure to end conversations with encouragement to “Have a great day!” Juan is genuine in his interactions, and it is easy to tell he is not just asking, but he really cares and wants to know.
“Congratulations, Juan, on being the Perry Kiwanis Club Student of the Month!” Brelsford said as she presented him with a certificate of recognition.
