Julius Little, 94, of Perry passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Perry Lutheran Homes in Perry, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 26 at 10 a.m. at the Perry Bible Church in Perry. Visitation will be Monday, March 25 from 4-7 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Prairie Center Cemetery in rural Linden.

Memorials will be given to the Perry Lutheran Homes or St. Croix Hospice and may be left at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.

Julius Merton Little was born Oct. 8, 1924, in Guthrie County to Walter Elwood and Mabel Fern (Fitz) Little.

His family moved to Dallas Center, and he graduated from the Dallas Center High School.

On Feb. 17, 1945, he was united in marriage to Helen Mardell Perrigo at her parent’s home near Redfield.

Julius farmed for almost 50 years and served the public as a Dallas County Supervisor.

He was a member of the Shiloh Bible Church, Perry Bible Church and many civic and community boards and organizations.

His life was devoted to helping people.

In death he rejoins his wife, Helen; a daughter, Linda Kay Little; parents, Walter and Mabel; a brother, Warren Little; and a sister, Miriam Washman.

Left to cherish Julius’s memory are his children, Norman (Donita) of Yale, Karen Sue (Bob) Sass of Davenport and Craig (Lynnette) Little of Panora; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul Little of Panora, Luke (Janice) Little of Dallas Center and Harriet Cornwell of Des Moines.
