Kenneth Baatz, 63, of Perry passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, at his home in Perry, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be at the Dallas Township Cemetery near Dawson, Iowa.
Kenneth Edwin Baatz was born Sept. 4, 1959, in Verdun, France, to Leon Jacob and Melba Mary (Kelsey) Baatz.
He graduated from Perry High School with the class of class of 1977 and then attended to Drake University.
Ken worked at Radio Shack as manager for years and at Diamler Trucking, Office Max in West Des Moines, FedEx in Grimes and Hy-Vee in Perry.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Ken enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
In death he rejoins his parents, Leon and Melba Baatz.
Left to cherish Kenneth’s memory are his sister, Kathleen (Ron) Ferneau of Urbandale; and several nieces and nephews.
