Merle Bud Bright, 75, of Knoxville was arrested Wednesday on a charge of two counts of indecent exposure.

A Knoxville man was arrested Wednesday in connection with an incident last week in which he allegedly exposed himself to another person in a public restroom.

Merle Bud Bright, 75, of 1314 N. Depot St., Knoxville, was charged with two counts of indecent exposure.

According to court records, the incident occurred about 4 p.m. March 16 in the men’s room of the Costco discount store at 7205 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines, where Bright allegedly “did present his genitals to another in a public bathroom” when he “knew or reasonably should have known that the act was offensive to the viewer.”

Bright was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to posting a $2,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a hearing April 5 in Dallas County District Court.
