Larry Nolan, 71, of Perry passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at the Eden Acres Campus of Perry Lutheran Homes in Perry, Iowa.
A graveside service will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in the spring.
Larry Alan Nolan was born July 23, 1951, in Perry, Iowa, to Bernard James and Darlene Elizabeth (Workman) Nolan.
He graduated from Perry Community Schools and then went to DMACC in Ankeny.
Larry worked for the railroad as a diesel mechanic, for the Perry Lutheran Home as maintenance director and then was a custodian for Perry Community Schools.
He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Perry Elks Lodge.
Larry enjoyed fishing, playing cards and golfing.
In death he rejoins his parents, Bernard and Darlene Nolan; and a sister, Pamela Nolan Thomsen.
Left to cherish Larry’s memory is his brother, Gordon Nolan.
