To the editor:
I want to thank the 5,560 residents of Iowa House District 47 who voted for me on Tuesday — 37% of the total — and all the great people who volunteered your time in putting up yard signs or holding events.
Thank you very much! It was my great pleasure to meet so many good people in the district and my honor to seek to represent you at the statehouse.
It was a great campaign and will definitely make me a better Perry City Council member and a stronger board member of the Dallas County Hospital.
