To the editor:
David Weaver of Rippy is a candidate for Iowa House District 47, including Greene and Boone counties.
I have known David Weaver for eight years. I sponsored him as a member of the Perry Lions Club. David was a faithful member of the organization and served as the club’s president. He participated in many civic activities of the group, and under his leadership the club grew.
David is a native Iowan and a graduate of East Greene High School. As a husband, father and farmer, he is very aware of the issues facing Iowa’s economy, schools and families. A few of his priorities are increased funding for education, improving health care and a healthier environment for Iowans.
David’s personality and his understanding of the problems facing Iowa make him an excellent person to be in the Iowa House of Representatives. David’s website gives more details about his positions on issues.
I urge the Perry-area residents in Boone and Greene counties to vote for David Weaver for Iowa House District 47.
