Letter to the editor: Where’s one to warm when libraries close?

The new Perry Public Library opened in 1994.

To the editor:

For Heaven’s sake, where the heck can the unfortunate go when the darn libraries are closed?

Everything is all well and fine when they’re open, but it’s going to be dangerously cold 24 hours a day.

Thank goodness for the warming centers, but it’s doubtlessly certain there are at least a few homeless people as well as some with no heat for their homes.

I suppose possibly the hospitals might help. It’d be nice if at least one church would open up for the poor souls.
