In conjunction with the Dallas County office of Veterans Affairs, a burial service with military honors has been set for Mr. Lewis Mason.
The burial will be held Friday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, with Chaplin Lucas Murphy of the Iowa National Guard presiding.
Mason, a U.S. military veteran of the Vietnam War, died in mid-August in Winnebago County in northern Iowa.
