Funeral services for Linda Kay Ayres, 70, of Perry will be held Saturday, July 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry. Following the services, a luncheon will be served at the St. Pat’s School gym.
Linda died July 9, 2019, at her home in Perry, Iowa.
Memorials in Linda’s name are suggested to the St Patrick Church Foundation and the Des Moines Catholic Worker House.
Linda is survived by her husband, Alan; son, Monte (Wendy) Ayres of Perry; daughters, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Ayres Green of Beaver Lake, Neb., and Melissa (Tag) Noel of Windsor Heights.

One of the most caring and competent nurses I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Knowledge of her profession, a great sense of humor, and deep religious convictions made her a shining example to her co-workers, even in the most difficult work assignments.
