Power lines fell along Iowa Highway 141 Sunday night when a vehicle struck a power pole and became tangled in the wires.
No injuries were reported.
The mishap was reported about 5:30 p.m. in the 17400 block of westbound Iowa Highway 141 near V Avenue north of Granger.
The circumstances leading the passenger car to leave the roadway, enter the ditch and strike the power pole are unknown at this hour.
The Granger Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s office and Woodward Volunteer Fire Department responded.
