One man was arrested Friday about 10 p.m. after he led officers of the Perry Police Department on a low-speed pursuit from First Avenue near Iowa Highway 141 to the downtown area.
The solo driver of the red passenger van was taken into custody without incident near the corner of Third Street and Otley Avenue after the five-minute chase.
The identity of the driver and his reason for failing to stop his vehicle when first pursued have not been released at this hour.
