Residents in the northwest portion of Perry can expect reduced water pressure Thursday, May 6 from about 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., the Perry Water Works announced Wednesday morning.
The area of low pressure will extend from Dewey Avenue to Park Street and from First Avenue to W. Fifth Street.
The Perry Water Works said it does not intend to shut the water off completely, but pressures will be very low.
“No boil order is anticipated,” the announcement said. “This is to allow for replacement of a fire hydrant that is leaking.”
