Senior guard Molly Lutmer will continue her basketball career with the University of Sioux Falls after she signed a Letter of Intent Friday in the Brady Library at PHS.

USF is a private liberal arts Christian school with 1,200 undergraduate students. that competes in NCAA Division II. The Cougars are members of the Northern Sun conference, playing in the eight-team South division.

Other schools in the division are Augustana, Upper Iowa, Southwest Minnesota State, Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota State and Winona State. Wayne State — where Perry grad Maggie Lowe played collegiate hoops — is also a member of the Northern Sun South.

Lutmer scored 296 points last season, an average of 14.8 points per game. She sank 49-of-172 (28.5 percent) 3-pointers and 35-of-41 free throws (85.4 percent). She had 21 assists and 106 rebounds, a clip of 5.3 boards per outing.
