The Perry High School Music and Drama Departments announced Wednesday their choice of “Momma Mia!” as the spring 2020 musical production.
“Mamma Mia!” is a 1999 musical written by Catherine Johnson that is based songs by the pop group ABBA. The plot follows a young bride-to-be who invites three men to her upcoming wedding, each of whom might be her father.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 at the Perry Performing Arts Center. The PHS Vocal Music Department is directed by Jenn Nelson, and the PHS Drama Department is led by Randy Peterson.
