Margaret “Muffie” Keenan, 92, of Mason City and formerly of Perry died on April 25, 2025.
Muffie was born in Minneapolis on April 20, 1933.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband, George, cross stitching, quilting and volunteering at MercyOne Hospital.
Most of all Muffie cherished her time with her kids and grandkids.
Muffie is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, George Keenan; sons, Terry Keenan and Danny Keenan; and many loved ones we lost along the way.
She is survived by her children, Tim Keenan, Kathy Keenan and Joe (Lana) Keenan; five grandchildren, Nick (Katie), Michelle (Derek), Connor, Cynthia (Matt) and Delaney; five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Bria, Abigail, Caiden and Landyn; and many loving nieces; nephews; and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Rogers, Minnesota, on Tuesday, May 20 at 12 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior. A burial will be held at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa, on Wednesday, May 21 at 10 a.m.
