Marilyn Roberts, 85, of Jefferson and formerly of Rippey passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the Gardens Retirement and Assisted Living Community in Jefferson, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry Thursday, May 16 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15 from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel.

Marilyn Joan Roberts was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Scranton, Iowa, to Leo Raymond and Vera Amy (Kirk) Gliem.
She worked in her parent’s cafe in Jamaica, Iowa, until graduating from Jamaica High School.
Following graduation, Marilyn worked at Holcomb Pharmacy in Perry until her marriage to David Edward Roberts in Perry June 17, 1956.
Marilyn liked to bake and spend time with her family.
In death she rejoins her husband, David; parents, Leo and Amy; and a sister, Leona Ratcliff.
Left to cherish Marilyn’s memory are her children, Craig (Kristin) Roberts of Jefferson, Darin (friend Wendi) Roberts of Boone and David Roberts of Ogden; and grandchildren, Jack, Carson, Harvey, Phillip, Bane, Briar and Ezra Roberts, Jesse Hermansen and Mikayla Wenger.
