Visitation for Michael Lee Van Hoff, 28, of Boone will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson, and a Celebration of Michael’s life will follow at 7 p.m., with his friend Joe Doran presiding.
Michael died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, in Boone.
Michael is survived by his father, Dennis Van Hoff of Boone; mother, Martha Zollars Derry and husband, Bob, of Menlo; wife, Abby Van Hoff of Ankeny; two young daughters, Maggie and Scarlet; brothers, LeRoy (Tommie Colms) Van Hoff of Boone, Greg Derry of Guthrie Center, Jeff (Natalie) Derry of Guthrie Center; sister, Sheri (Randy) McCann of Guthrie Center; and grandmother, Helen Zollars of Jefferson.
Memorials in Michael’s name may be left or mailed to Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson.
