One person was injured Monday evening when his motorcycle struck a deer on a gravel road east of Perry.
The collision occurred about 5:30 p.m. on G Avenue near 335th Street in Boone County.
The circumstances of the mishap are under investigation by the Boone County Sheriff’s office.
The victim was treated at the scene by the Perry First Responders before being transported to a hospital by the Dallas County EMS. His condition is unknown at this hour.
The deer was apparently killed by the impact of the collision.
