One person was injured Friday when the motorcycle the person was driving left the roadway of Iowa Highway 144 just north of the Angus Curve in Boone County.
The crash occurred just after noon in the 100 block of Apple Road (Iowa Highway 144).
The driver was transported to MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, according to public safety radio traffic.
The vehicle came to rest in the ditch of the southbound lane of the state highway.
The Perry Police Department, Perry Volunteer Fire Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Boone County Sheriff’s office, Dallas County EMS and Boone County EMS responded.
