A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries Saturday about 2:30 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway of westbound Iowa Highway 141 and came to rest in a farm field on the highway’s north side.
The cause of the mishap is under investigation by the Perry Police Department.
The two-wheeler appeared to leave a number of parts in its wake after it left the roadway about one-quarter mile east of I Court on Perry’s west side.
The driver was transported by private vehicle to the Dallas County Hospital for examination.
