A Broom Badger from Macqueen Equipment Rental in Ankeny was cleaning tree debris from Perry streets Monday morning. The cleaning will continue on Tuesday, and residents are asked to remove their parked vehicles from the city streets so that the streets can be cleaned.
The street sweeper is also clearing gutters and vacuuming out storm drains with the Broom Badger, which can pick up the small pieces of bark and tree debris.
Perry’s resilient residents were also pleased to see a city garbage truck delivering its reliable garbage collection service on its regular rounds Monday morning.
