A collision involving at least two vehicles occurred about 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Iowa Highway 141 at Iowa Street in Perry.
One of the vehicles, a passenger minivan, came to rest pointing west in the westbound lanes of Iowa Highway 141, and another vehicle, a four-door passenger car, came to rest pointing east near the median of the westbound lanes.
The circumstances and cause of the accident are unknown at this hour, and it is unknown whether the accident caused injuries.
Radio traffic indicated one of the vehicles bore Nebraska license plates and was operated by a driver with a learner’s permit, but these details have not been confirmed by law enforcement.
The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS responded to the mishap.
