At least two people were transported to the Dallas County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Friday afternoon after two cars collided on Iowa Highway 141 at I Court south of the Tyson Fresh Meats plant on Perry’s west side.
The incident occurred about 4:45 p.m.
One of the vehicles sustained significant front-end damage and came to rest facing eastward on the north shoulder of Iowa Highway 141. The second vehicle sustained significant passenger-side damage and came to rest in the north ditch of Iowa Highway 141 just west of I Court.
The incident is under investigation at this hour by the Perry Police Department and Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
The Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS also responded.
