Hundreds were served Friday at the first St. Pat’s Knights of Columbus Lenten fish fry.

Some of 200 people passed through the serving line in the St. Patrick Catholic School gymnasium Friday night at the first fish fry of the Lenten season, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus St. Jude Council 1243.

The 90-minute banquet served up fried fish and fish tacos, baked potatoes, French fries, coleslaw, desserts and drinks.

The meal was prepared and served by the Knights, with assistance from the Regina Guild and the students of St. Patrick Catholic School.

The Lenten meals will continue each Friday from 5:30-7 p.m. through April 11.

The Perry Ministerial Association is also holding Lenten services each Wednesday at 11 a.m.
