Nancy (Reardon) Seemann was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on May 31, 2022, at age 70.

Nancy was born to Lawrence and Beatrice (Lynch) Reardon.

She met and married Ronald Seemann. This past April they celebrated 47 years of marriage.

Their adventure continued with the arrival of her daughter, Monica. Monica’s adventuring crew include her husband, Tim, and their children, Aiden, Aeryn and Alana. They can most often be found entertaining at grandma and papa’s.

Son, Josh (Sarah), and their children Olivia and Caitlin.

Nancy spent many years working for the state of Iowa.

She was a member of St. Malachy’s Church and spent many years teaching CCD at Assumption while her children were young.

She helped with swimming lessons and sports practices and made too many trips to and from school to count. She will never let us forget the time she brought the kitties to school for show and tell. She drove to school wearing several farm kittens on her head.

Her adventures with Ron took them cruising to many amazing locales, from Europe to Alaska to Hawaii to Mexico and the Bahamas. Her most memorable cruise took her up the Eastern seaboard.

In addition to her husband, Ron, and children, Monica and Josh, Nancy is survived by her siblings, Liz (Tom and Don) Reardon Stelpflug Barrow, Joe (Kathy) Reardon and Alice (Rich) Reardon Perkins; her many nephews and nieces, Tony (Tracey) Dalton, A. J. and Johnny Stelpflug, Pam (Mike) Maertz, Alex (Sulinn) Malia and Hoku Reardon, Emily (Steve) Robbie, Ben and Liam Healey, Kelly (John) Kaitlyn, Lincoln, Gabby and Amelia Sanchez and Stacy (Jeff) Perkins Madison.

Katie Stelpflug is in heaven.

A visitation will be held at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Madrid on Monday, June 6 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral Mass is scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church. The family will hold a private burial at a later date.

Memorials can be directed to St. Malachy’s Religious Education Program, a local Habitat for Humanity or to her family.
