Matt Hardy speaks with since-graduated quarterback Alexis Garrido last season, Hardy is the new head coach for the Bluejays, and is just one of several new varsity coaches in the area.

The fall sports season will begin in just over two weeks, and when it does there will be several new head coaches leading area teams in a variety of varsity sports.

Matt Hardy is the new head coach for the Perry football team, with Ryan Marzen taking the reigns for both the Bluejay and Jayette cross country squads.

Only one change has been made at Woodward-Granger, where Bailey Hunt is stepping in for Meg Jackson as the head volleyball coach. Jackson resigned last year after 16 successful seasons and 314 wins.

Panorama, like Perry, is replacing head coaches for both football and volleyball. Michael Kauzlarich will guide the Panther gridders, with Jessica Nail taking over the Panther volleyball team.

ADM has also made a change, as Garrison Carter will be the new football coach, replacing veteran Mike Whisner. The ADM head softball and head girls basketball positions remain open after the recent resignation of Rick Dillinger, who accepted an assistant coaching position for the University of Iowa softball team.

Perry also remains in the hunt for a varsity head coach for girls basketball after Chris Morrow resigned last week after one season at the helm.
