Nineteen deaths, 408 new COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday by IDPH

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified Tuesday of 19 deaths from COVID-19, including two in Dallas County and bringing the statewide total to 207. An additional 408 positive cases for a total of 10,111 positive cases were reported, including 613 cases in Dallas County.

According to IDPH, the additional 19 deaths were reported in the following counties:

Allamakee County, 1 older adult (61-80)
Black Hawk County, 1 middle-age adult (41-60), 1 older adult (61-80), 1 elderly adult (81+)
Dallas County, 1 older adult (61-80), 1 elderly adult (81+)
Jasper County, 1 older adult (61-80)
Linn County, 1 middle-age adult (41-60), 5 older adults (61-80)
Polk County, 1 adult (18-40), 1 elderly adult (81+ years)
Tama County, 3 elderly adults (81+)
Woodbury County, 1 elderly adult (81+ years)
