No home course advantage for Perry girls golfers

Visiting ADM had a combined score of 190 to fend off Ogden, who fired a 202, at the Perry Golf and Country Club Thursday. The host Jayettes were well back with a 264 after enduring what head coach Joel Happel admitted was “a tough night.”

Ogden’s Sveta Hansen claimed medalist honors with a round of 44, with Taylor Boorn of ADM the runner-up with a score of 46.

Sarah Sweet led Perry with a 61, with Laurann Perry shooting a 65, Skylar Cunningham a 68 and Caley Hager a 70. Hannah Roberts did not have her card of 74 used for the team total.

Lexi Owen (47), Lindey Lange (48) and Nicole Bever (49) joined Boorn in scoring for ADM, with Hannah Carter (51), Harlie Vinchattle (53) and Bailey Porter (54) the other scorers for Ogden.

Eilzabeth Blakeman and Rebecca Dobson saw meet action for the Perry junior varsity, with the former recording an 80 and the later an 85.
