Visiting North Polk strolled to a pair of Raccoon River Conference victories Friday, with the Comets winning the girls game, 70-28, before recording 53-9 win in the boys outing.
North Polk (4-3, 2-1) scored 20 points in each of the first two quarters of the girls tilt, with Perry (1-5, 0-5) able to counter with only six points in the first frame and four in the second to enter the half facing a 40-10 deficit. The margin grew to 58-16 entering the final period.
Lydia Olejniczak had 12 points for Perry, with Michelle Tobar adding six points while Kennedy Tunink and Quinn Whiton had five points apiece. Each sank one 3-point basket.
Makayla Boatman led the guests with 16 points, with Hannah Foster and Paige Johnson each adding 13 points.
Perry (0-6, 0-5) trailed only 8-6 after one quarter of play in the nightcap, but North Polk (3-3, 3-1) scored 24 points in the second period while holding the hosts scoreless to open a 32-6 halftime gulf. The Bluejays managed only a single point in the third frame to fall into a 47-7 hole, with a 23-minute stretch producing a lone free throw.
Jeremy Mateso had four points, Sincere Johnson three and June Rey Reisberg two for Perry.
Andrew Weig had 15 points, Jevin Sullivan 11 and Jackson Nemmers eight to pace the Comets.
Perry will host ADM Tuesday in their final action before the holiday break.
