The Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International met Sept. 12 and swore in the officers for the 2020-2022 biennium.
Current and former officers gathering for the ceremony included Deb Irving, Marilyn Bode, Darlene Pitsenbarger, Sue Leslie, Sharon Ulrich, Maureen Becker, Marlene Johnson and Roxy Schwartz.
The Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter is made up of both active and retired women educators who live or work in Dallas County. Through its scholarships to new teachers, literacy grants and other activities, the chapter strives to promote the professional and personal growth of women educators as well as to promote excellence in education.
