Teachers — both active and retired — from around Dallas County who are members of the Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter held their annual auction virtually this year in order to raise funds for two $500 scholarships for aspiring educators.
Applications for the scholarships are now being accepted. The deadline for applications is April 1, 2021. For application forms, contact Carol Hill at hchill@minburncomm.net.
Applicants must be a college junior or senior in the fall of 2021 and be seriously planning on entering the teaching field. Each applicant must have graduated from a Dallas County high school or be a resident of Dallas County and be majoring in either a B.S. or B.A. program.
The Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society is an international organization honoring women educators. Members of Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter are active or retired educators in Dallas County.
