Ogden Police Report July 8-14

July 8, 2019

  • Jeffrey Orrell reported his brake lines was cut. Orrell called back 15 minutes later and said that since the deputy did not respond as quickly as Orrell thought he should, the deputy need not show up at all.
  • A Boone County Deputy attempted to help someone locked out of a vehicle. The deputy was unable to gain access to vehicle.
  • Camella Elsner reported her canoe was stolen from 619 N.W. Fourth Street. A Boone County Deputy responded and discovered that Camella co-owned this canoe with another person and the other person had removed the canoe. Camella was advised this was a civil matter.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted someone locked out of a vehicle.

July 9, 2019

  • An Ogden resident reported he caught a dog running loose near the railroad tracks in the 600 block of W. Locust Street. A Boone County Deputy took the dog to the Boone Area Humane Society.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to a fire alarm at the Ogden Middle School. This was determined to be a false alarm.

July 10, 2019

  • No reported activity.

July 11, 2019

  • Holly Thompson reported that her German shorthair dog got loose and was last seen running eastward from her residence at 614 E. Walnut St.

July 12, 2019

  • An Ogden officer assisted a Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop in the 800 block of 130th Street.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to an incident in which an Ogden resident claimed her husband would throw her belongings outside whenever she left the residence. The deputy spoke with both parties.

July 13, 2019

  • An officer provided a funeral escort from the St. John Catholic Church to the St. John Catholic Cemetery.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at the North Middle School. The alarm was set off by an employee.

July 14, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy received a report of two females hiding behind cars near the North Middle School. The deputy was unable to locate anyone in the area.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
