June 12, 2017

  • An officer responded to 313 W. Chestnut St. for an incomplete 911 call. It was determined to be a phone line problem.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders on a medical call.

June 13, 2017

  • An officer assisted someone with a civil matter.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 226 W. Division St.
  • An officer arrested Isaiah Heredia, 19, of Boone on an outstanding warrant from Tama County in the 400 block of S. First Street.

June 14, 2017

  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at a local restaurant. The alarm was set off by a delivery driver.
  • An officer was asked to check on an elderly female in a car in the 600 block of 216th Street. The person was fine.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County EMS with someone who stopped at the Ogden Police Department and was complaining of having trouble breathing.

June 15, 2017

  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • An officer received a report of a dog being tangled up in a swing at 201 W. Elm St. The officer spoke with a resident of 201 W. Elm St. and advised the person of the situation. The officer directed the resident to remove the swing so this doesn’t happen again or move the dog to a place in the yard that is tangle free.
  • Todd Hefler at 307 W. Veterans Drive reported two dogs were swimming in his pond. An officer called the owner of the dogs to come and pick up the dogs.
  • An officer responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the Casey’s parking lot. There was less than $1,500 damage, so no state report was filed.

June 16, 2017

  • An officer received a report of two German shorthair dogs running loose in the 600 block of W. Locust Street. The officer was unable to locate the dogs.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County EMS at 787 216th St.
  • An officer received a complaint of juveniles fighting in the park. The officer spoke with all parties involved and advised to stay away from one another.
  • An officer assisted a motorist locked out of a vehicle.

June 17, 2017

  • An officer was asked to do a welfare check on children at an Ogden residence because they were reported as being home alone. The father was home with the children.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County EMS at an Ogden residence.
  • An officer picked up two kittens from 513 N.W. Seventh St., #2, and took to the Boone Area Humane Society.
  • An officer stood by while someone retrieved some belongings from a residence.
  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary School. This was determined to be a false alarm.

June 18, 2017

  • An officer spoke with someone at 208 E. Walnut St. about dogs running at large. The door latch on kennel broke, and the dogs got out.
  • An officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s office, Perry Volunteer Fire Department, Perry First Responders, Dallas County EMS and Boone County EMS with a two-vehicle accident in the 2300 block of H Avenue.
  • An officer received a complaint from an Ogden resident regarding a civil issue.
  • An officer responded to a life-line call at an Ogden residence. The person had fallen to the floor and needed help standing up. The officer helped the subject to her feet. She was not injured.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County EMS at Acurra Health Care.
