November 21, 2016

  • An officer assisted the Iowa Department of Human Services at 201 W. Elm St. on an investigation.
  • An officer assisted another agency in locating someone.

November 22, 2016

  • An officer assisted the Ogden First responders at 214 N. First St.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist at Casey’s.
  • An officer investigated a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of S.W. Third Street. Brandon Stoneburner, 28, of Ogden was backing his 2006 Chevrolet out of a parking stall in the 100 block of S.W. Third Street when he ran into a 2001 Toyota northbound in the 100 block of S.W. Third Street driven by Jillian Spencer, 35, of Ogden. Damage to Stoneburner’s vehicle was estimated at $300, and damage to Spencer’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500. Stoneburner was issued a citation for alleged unsafe backing.
  • An officer recovered a missing dog at 822 N. First St.

November 23, 2016

  • An officer provided a funeral escort from the Methodist Church to the Glenwood Cemetery.
  • An officer stood by while someone retrieved belongings from his residence.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist.

November 24, 2016

  • Someone dropped off a Beagle dog that was almost run over in the 1100 block of 216th Street. The officer held the dog in the city kennel, thinking the owner would call, looking for the dog.
  • The Boone Police Department requested assistance with a large group of people who were fighting. The group dispersed prior to the Ogden Police Department officer’s arrival.
  • An Ogden resident reported that her 2-year-old son had been physically abused while he was at his father’s home in another town. An officer took pictures and advised the mother to seek medical advice and also to notify the police in the town where the father lives.

November 25, 2016

  • An officer investigated a complaint of reckless driving.
  • An officer arrested Thomas Rouse in the 200 block of S. First Street for alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession or use of false drug tax stamp, driving while revoked and no insurance.

November 26, 2016

  • An officer investigated a complaint of a reckless driver on U.S, Highway 169. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
  • An officer investigated suspicious activity at the Ogden High School.
  • An officer investigated suspicious activity at Spinning Wheels Skating Rink.

November 27, 2016

  • An officer investigated an incomplete 911 call from at 313 S.W. Seventh Place. It was determined to be phone problems.
  • An officer investigated a suspicious male at 332 S.W. Sixth St., #4. The officer was unable to locate the person.
